Hi, I'm Gabriela Roșca.
I've spent more than twenty years around people at work — their frustrations, their ambitions, the quiet moments where someone finally feels understood by the place they work for.
Somewhere in those two decades, one thing became impossible to unlearn: organizations don't grow because of processes, they grow because of people who feel seen, heard, and genuinely valued. SMART HR exists because I couldn't stop thinking about that.
I didn't set out to build an ecosystem. I set out to build one honest conversation, then another, then a room full of them. Today that's grown into the SMART HR Event, this Community, a LinkedIn newsletter, the Leadership în Blue Jeans podcast, and the HR Ambassador competition — but it all still comes back to the same instinct I started with: give people in HR a place to stop performing expertise and start exchanging it.
That instinct has a shape now, and you'll feel it everywhere in this community. We explore beyond the obvious, chasing perspectives that challenge and stretch us rather than confirm what we already believe. We innovate with courage, because playing it safe never changed how
anyone manages people. And we activate what we learn, because an idea that never leaves the page is just theory, and I've always preferred building something real over admiring something clever.
Nothing about this is a project I run from a distance. It's personal — deeply so. Every event, every article, every conversation in this community carries a piece of what I've learned, what I still get wrong more often than I'd like to admit, and what I'm endlessly curious about. I'm here in the room with you, not above it, and I'd love for you to bring your own story, your own questions, and your own boldness to the table.
Welcome to SMART HR. Let's explore, innovate, and activate the future of people management — together.

● OUR VALUES
Curiosity beyond borders — we look past traditional boundaries to understand what's really changing in the world of work.
Ideas that challenge the status quo — fresh perspectives turned into new ways of leading people.
Action over theory — insight turned into real projects, initiatives, and solutions.
Our Objectives
Build a truly international community where professionals at similar levels of seniority find
their peers — people who face the same challenges, in different organisational and cultural contexts.
Bring curated content, exclusive interviews, international panels, and real-world tools to
every member — practical, honest, and immediately applicable.
Move beyond networking: create the space where debates become working groups, working groups become initiatives, and initiatives change how organisations treat their people.
Support members at every career stage — from first explorations to senior leadership — so the profession itself grows stronger, bolder, and more human.
